International Journal of Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy (ISSN Online: 2575-1859, ISSN Print: 2575-1840) publishes papers in the field of minerals and metallurgy, defining mineral and processes metallurgy as the study of chemical phenomena using physical methods and concepts. The journal presents original papers, reviews and letters. The primary goal of this journal is to advance the understanding of chemical and environmental structure and function by application of the principles of chemical engineering and environmental science, and by presenting the work in a minerals and metallurgy context. The journal is addressed to engineers, chemists and other specialists interested in minerals and metallurgical processes research, teaching and techniques.

The topics related to this journal include but are not limited to:

  • Energy transformation and transfer
  • Thermodynamics and kinetics
  • Mineral processing
  • Mining and refining
  • Calcinations and smelting
